This breakthrough not only marked a pivotal moment for LGBTQ+ representation in animation but also indicated a broader shift in Disney's storytelling approach.
In addition to Ethan Clade, Disney Channel went further by presenting Cyrus Goodman, who not only made history as the first gay main character but also became memorable for directly stating,
