I'm a huge Star Wars fan, but I'm also an online critic. This show was really good. It wasn't perfect by any means, but it opened up so much of the Star Wars Universe. The integration of Legends content into canon was so amazing. This would give Star Wars the opportunity to tell stories that finally break away from the Skywalker Saga and how Palpatine somehow returned. Even if you didn't like it, for whatever reason, i think that if you are truly a fan then you'd love to see more Star Wars. I didn't like Solo A Star Wars or Andor, (not because i hated the show, the show was cool, i just did not care about the character of Andor at all) or episode 9. I still watched though, because as a fan i can always be down for more lore. Bring Acolyte Season 2 so we can dig deeper into this side of things. Acolyte broke streaming records and in that way it was very successful. Disneys budget may have been the issue. Find a way to make the show with less money and you'll see a success on your hands.
