During her appearance on The Daily Show, Amandla Stenberg discussed her film addressing police brutality, which led to some Star Wars fans twisting/using her words against her after she expressed, "Our goal was to make white people cry." Later, when Stenberg released a music video speaking up about racism bigotry and using the word woke those same fans twisted/used her message in the music video against her, claiming she called them racist and bigots and said, “Go woke to go broke and who’s crying now and you’re a horrible Actress, and she deserves it she called us racist and bigots .” also claiming she is playing Victim and attacked her in Instagram comments. She also experienced Racism in The Hunger Games Franchise.
